Why do I see "Cannot safely connect to server" when I create an email account using SSL?

This can happen if you create an email account, tap Manual setup, and set Security type to SSL (Accept all certificates).
This error occurs because the Email app uses the default ports of 110 for POP3 and 25 for SMTP. The secure ports for these protocols are different. Usually, they are ports 995 for Secure POP3 and 465 for Secure SMTP.
