[Summary]

How to add a phone dialer in kiosk mode.

[Resolution]
Follow the steps below to deploy the phone dialer shortcut to the home screen in Kiosk mode:

1. Login to the EMM Admin portal.
2. Go to Policies > Policy Settings > Mobile Device Policies > Samsung Knox Device Settings > Application Management > Applications to be added to home screen.
3. Click Add. The Application to be added to home screen page is displayed.
4. In the Package Name field, enter com.android.contacts.phone and com.samsung.android.contacts.phone (see attached)
5. Click Save.

Note: the package names above are actually not real package names on the device but are used to trigger the EMM agent to add the dialer. Both package names are required to get the dialer on devices <= M OS and on N devices.
