To set mobile data restrictions:
- Go to Device Management Profile > Android Policy > Phone
- Click Apply under Data usage restrictions, and enter the maximum mobile data usage allowed.
The maximum data usage can be set for a per-day, per-week, or per-month interval. Once users exceed the maximum data usage limit, devices can no longer access mobile data.
To ensure that the device measures data usage accurately over different intervals, ensure that users don’t change the date or time settings on their devices.
Data usage is measured at the following intervals:
- Daily – 12:00pm
- Weekly – Sunday
- Monthly – The first day of each month.
