Overview

When attempting to view emails in the Samsung Email app, some Knox devices running Android 8 are displaying only headers with blank content in the body of the email.

Cause

The Samsung Email app uses Chrome Webview to display email HTML content. Google Chrome version 76 is impacting the way HTML content is shown in the Email app.

Resolution

Update the Samsung Email Native client to v6.1.xx.xx or higher. Please ensure that Google Chrome is updated to a version higher than v76 as well.
