Overview

Some KM administrators are reporting that they can no longer set permissions for internal applications from the Knox Manage console.

Cause

From KM version 19.9, the feature that allows administrators to set permissions for internal applications is removed by design. 

Resolution

The associated Knox API is deprecated because it no longer complies with Google's privacy policies. Starting with Android Q, the Knox framework does not grant dangerous permissions to enterprise admin apps.
