Overview

When implementing Knox Service Plugin (KSP), some UEMs are reporting that they are unable to pass the schema version when pushing policies to a device.

Cause

Schema versions have a hidden restriction type, so UEMs are not required to display them to users. However, their data must be passed to the device when applying policies.

As the Google iframe does not provide unchanged values to the device when setting KSP policies, the schema version is not delivered.

Workaround

To avoid issues with the Google iframe, you may natively integrate OEMConfig within the UEM console. For UEM partners, please consult your assigned Google counterpart for further guidance.
