Knox Configure (KC)

Overview

When using a wildcard (*) to blacklist a URL in Knox Configure, device configuration fails with the following error observed: 

Error 51010: An error occurred with addDomainFilterRules in your profile. Check the configuration items in your profile and retry. 

Cause

During profile configuration, under Application and content configuration, the wildcard character (*) is used before "http://" or "https://" in the blacklisted URL.

Resolution

Ensure that the wildcard character is used only in the site domain and not before the "http://" or "https://" protocol in any blacklisted URLs. 

If you are still experiencing this error, please collect device logs and raise a ticket through your Samsung Knox dashboard.
